The Punjab pacer, who is a frontrunner to grab a spot in India’s XI in Champions Trophy 2025, has 20 wickets from seven List A matches in the ongoing edition of the tournament. The southpaw is considered to be one of India’s primary white-ball format bowler and has performed consistently in domestic cricket over the last few months.

Arshdeep sizzled with a three-wicket haul in the quarterfinal clash against Maharashtra on Saturday. His first victim was MAH skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad as he cleaned up the batter to get rid of him just for 5 runs, giving Punjab an early breakthrough. In his very next over, he dismissed Siddhesh Veer, leaving the opposition reeling. His final victim was centurion Arshin Kulkarni as Arshdeep brought the curtains down on his 107-run knock.
