パキスタンは、バングラデシュとのICCチャンピオンズトロフィーの最後のグループフェーズゲームをプレイします
The Pakistan Cricket Team has been eliminated from the ICC Champions Trophy after losing both their games against New Zealand and India. Former Pakistan captain and Prime Minister Imran Khan has been upset with his side’s performance. His sister Aleema Khan told the media after visiting her brother at the Rawalpindi jail.
Aleema further went on to reveal that Imran Khan said that Pakistan Cricket is getting destroyed after decision-making powers were given to people who were favorites. This has been a jibe towards Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

Najam Sethi blames Imran Khan for Pakistan’s downfall
“The PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) founder expressed great sadness over losing the match against India,” Aleema said.
“Imran said cricket will be eventually destroyed when favourites are put in decision-making positions,” she added.
In the meantime, the blame game continues. Ex PCB chief Najam Sethi has however blamed the former Prime Minister and 1992 World Cup winning captain. Sethi believes that the downfall of Pakistan cricket started a long time ago. He claimed that the downfall started back in 2019 when the board decided to change the domestic structure which had shaped Pakistan cricket for years.
“Political interference continued; contradictory PCB policies became the norm— foreign coaches were hired and sent packing, selectors were whimsically nominated, old discards were recruited to mentor and manage,” Sethi wrote on social media.
Sethi further claimed that there is still a chance that Pakistani Cricket can still be revived if there is absolute professionalism in work.
