Cameron made his IPL debut in 2023 for the five-time champion Mumbai Indians. He had a memorable season in his IPL debut as he amassed 452 runs from 16 matches at an average of 50.22. He scored two half-centuries and a hundred in the previous season and was a consistent scorer for MI throughout the season. Despite that, MI traded him to RCB and bought back Hardik Pandya into their squad. For RCB, Green played some valuable knocks but could not emulate his previous antics in the IPL.
