Born in Barbados, Kirton has been a key figure in Canadian cricket over recent years. Prior to joining the Canadian team, he represented the West Indies Under-19 side and played domestically for Barbados. The left-handed batter has accumulated 514 runs across 21 ODIs for Canada and has an impressive tally of 627 runs in 28 T20Is. Additionally, Kirton made his mark in the Caribbean Premier League in 2020, featuring in three matches for the Jamaica Tallawahs.
