ドーニは9番でバットに来る必要はありません。アシュウィンの前で拒否されるべきである
Former Chennai Super Kings star Shane Watson opined that MS Dhoni should have batter higher up the order in the game against RCB. The ex-CSK captain walked out to bat at number 9 and still managed to score 30 runs off 16 deliveries. However, MSD’s knock couldn’t save CSK as they fell short by 50 runs to hand RCB their 2nd win over the arch-rivals at the Chepauk.

Dhoni should have batted ahead of Ashwin: Watson
Speaking on Kuhl Fans Match Center Live on JioHotstar, Watson reckoned that CSK would have had a stronger shot at victory had Dhoni batted up the order. He said that captain Gaikwad should have promoted Thala so that he could have showcased the full extent of his skills.
“This is exactly what CSK fans come to see—30 off 16 deliveries from Dhoni. I would have absolutely loved to see him come up the order. In my opinion, he should have batted ahead of Ashwin. Given the game situation, Dhoni could have played like this for another 15 balls,” Watson opined.

With his 30-run cameo, Dhoni overtook Suresh Raina to become CSK’s leading run-getter in the IPL. A vintage MSD turned back the clock to score 30 at a strike-rate of 187.50 in an innings studded with 3 fours and 2 sixes.
“If CSK had sent him in earlier, they would have had a better chance of crossing the line. Of course, the crowd absolutely loved what he did tonight, but if he had come in sooner, CSK might have had a stronger shot at victory,” Watson added.
