Speaking at the post-match press conference, Rizwan claimed that he was surprised by Virat’s hard work. He said that the world claimed that the Indian batter was out of form but he managed to easily score runs in a big match while Pakistan failed to contain him. The Pakistan captain heaped praise on Kohli’s fitness levels and credited him for single-handedly taking the game away from the hosts.

“I will definitely praise his fitness level and hard work, they way he has done it. Because he is a cricketer and we are also cricketers. We tried very hard to get him out, but he took the game away from us,” Rizwan said.
