This is a tumultous time for the Indian team, where just not the players, but the support staff and the selectors are under scanner as well, for failed performances vs Australia and New Zealand. R Ashwin, who recently announced his retirement, and expressed his views over the prevailing situation. He said, he also sympathises with the chairman of selectors, Ajit Agarkar.

We will have to give some weightage to players who do well under pressure. Because, in modern cricket, there are plenty of talented players who time the ball very well,” he added.
