It seems there is a lit of discontent among the Pakistani authorities, following India’s firm decision on not visiting the country for the Champions Trophy, due to security issues. For the same, all of India’s matches were moved to Dubai. To add to that insult, not only India beat Pakistan, but also ensured the hosts were ousted early on from the tournament.

Pakistani Fan Waves Indian Flag?

Now, in what seems like a video from the Feb 22 Australia vs England match in Lahore, from OsintTV, a Pakistani fan waving the Indian flag in the stands, was quickly removed by the security team. While it is not known exactly, as to when all this happened, this isn’t the solo incident that hogged the limelight during the encounter.

Another Issue at AUS vs ENG, Champions Trophy Match

At the start of the match, during the national anthem ceremony, mistakenly the Indian national anthem was played for a couple of seconds. The PCB was left red-faced after the incident, and had even asked the ICC for an explanation for the same. The latter admitted to the mistake and called it a technical glitch, but of course the reply didn’t satisfy the board.

Once again, coming back to the flag incident, there is no confirmation, if the video is genuine or not. Having said that, the trouble for Pakistan does not end there, as the hosts have crashed out of the Champions Trophy. On Tuesday, when Bangladesh suffered their second defeat, that meant that Pakistan would end up with two points at max, that too if they win against BAN.
