ヴィラト・コーリは首の負傷のため、デリーで予定されているランジ・トロフィーのサウラーシュトラ戦を欠場することになった。
In what has come as a huge breaking, Virat Kohli is all set to play a Ranji Trophy match for Delhi. At least, as per an Anandbazar Patrika journalist and other reports, Kohli has confirmed his availability to the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) to play Delhi’s last league match against Railways. Mind you, Kohli isn’t part of Delhi’s upcoming Ranji game against Saurashtra, where Rishabh Pant will face Ravindra Jadeja.
This is massive news considering the Indian domestic cricket. A few days ago, the BCCI released a 10-point guidelines policy in which it was clearly stated that playing domestic cricket “is mandatory for players to remain eligible for selection in the national team and for central contracts.” To not feature, the BCCI would require some medical proof of injury. That’s exactly why Kohli informed the BCCI medical staff about his injury, which ruled him out of the January 23rd match against Saurashtra. However, Delhi’s next and last league game is against Railways, set to be played on January 30.
Virat Kohli to join Rohit Sharma in Ranji bandwagon?
Earlier today, Rohit Sharma was confirmed in Mumbai’s squad for the Ranji Trophy game against Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian captain will bat alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal and will play under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane.
