No Rohit Sharma in Gayle’s all-time XI

In his all-time IPL XI, he has included four overseas players and seven players from India. However, notably, one of India’s greats and a six-time IPL trophy winner, Rohit Sharma, is absent from the list. As an opener, Chris Gayle has chosen himself and Virat Kohli to start the innings and dropped other batters.

Surprise inclusion of Ravindra Jadeja

Surprisingly, Chris Gayle has included Ravindra Jadeja, who, although a big player and creator of many chances and memories, may not be considered among the best IPL players in the tournament’s history. However, at number 5, he has chosen Ravindra Jadeja.

No Warner or Malinga

Chris Gayle didn’t include David Warner or Lasith Malinga in his playing XI because he wanted to choose Malinga but realised he could only include four overseas players. As a result, Malinga is absent from the list, although he mentioned that Warner could have been on the bench.
