イギリスは、ICCチャンピオンズトロフィーの準備が始まると、イングランドに対して3つの憎しみをプレーします。
As has been their custom, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has named their playing XI a day before the match. Team India is set to host England in a three-match one-day international series, starting tomorrow (Feb 6). On Wednesday, England have named their playing lineup, with Joe Root returning to the setup for the first time since the Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. Interestingly, that was also hosted by India.
Joe Root the MVP for England against India?
Joe Root, part of the famous ‘Fab 4’, will be extremely crucial for England. A team that likes to go gaga from ball one would be dependent on the reliability of Root, who is surely one of the best Test batters currently (if not the best). He is in some delightful white-ball form as well, having a successful campaign in the ongoing SA20 for the Paarl Royals. He scored 279 runs at an average of 55.80 and at a strike rate of 140.20 before joining the English camp in India. With 171 ODIs to his name, Root has mustered 6522 runs, including 16 centuries.
