ランジトロフィーファイナルは2月26日から開催されます
The stage is set for a stunning encounter in the Ranji Trophy 2025 Finals as Kerala takes on Vidarbha. While the second session for Day 5 continues, it is almost given that these two sides will make it to the finals of the tournament. Kerala has however created history after making it to the finals for the very first time.
Mumbai continues to be in a state of bother as they need more than 160 runs to win with just 3 wickets remaining. A draw will go against them as they don’t have the better first-inning score. incidentally, this will also apply to Kerala. The side headed into their second innings with a slender lead of just 2 runs.

Fall of the Giants
Before the start of the semi-finals, it was assumed that Mumbai and Gujarat would make their way into the finals. But the cricketing gods had a different script in their hands. Vidarbha showcased their grit and composure to hold firm against a dominant Mumbai side.
Stalwarts like Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, and Suryakumar Yadav all misfired. Meanwhile, for Kerala, it was mainly a one-man show. Skipper Sachin Baby’s 69 set the pace, but keeper Mohammed Azaharudden slammed a heroic 177-run knock to put 457 runs on the board. Gujarat was bowled out in their first innings for a score of just 455, just 2 runs short.
Kerala will be jubilant upon reaching the Ranji Trophy Finals for the very first time in their career. Meanwhile, it will be despair and regret for a strong Mumbai side who were comfortably overpowered by Vidarbha.
