Abhishek Sharma went berserk to end his IPL 2025 rut, scoring a 40-ball 100 in Hyderabad on Saturday. The left-hander made most of his chances, taking his team over the line in a scintillating display of power hitting. With his family watching in the crowd, the 24-year-old had an extra incentive to perform, and Abhishek did so in some style.

His century marked wild celebrations from the player himself, who had failed to make a mark in IPL 2025 until that moment. In the stands, SRH owner Kavya Maran was elated, standing up in glee to celebrate her recruit’s achievement. Maran took the moment to congratulate Abhishek Sharma’s family, who were watching the game from the stands. Later after the game finished, Kavya Maran once again made it a point to greet Abhishek’s mom, congratulating her after the SRH superstar’s record breaking night.

Kavya Maran is always in the camera’s glare whenever SRH are in action. Maran went through a range of emotions before settling for jubilation as her side clinched their second win of the IPL 2025 season. Having watched her team suffer four defeats in a row, Kavya was visibly disappointed seeing Shreyas Iyer take the SRH attack on but celebrated when the likes of Glenn Maxwell departed. However, when Marcus Stoinis carted Mohammed Shami for four sixes in a row, the SRH owner was dejected, fearing yet another defeat.

However, luckily for Kavya Maran, the Sunrisers Hyderabad had the last laugh. Abhishek and Travis Head made a mockery of the chase, giving the Sunrisers owner a lot more to cheer and celebrate.
