SRHは、IPL 2025の前にAbhishek Sharma、Travis Head、Niti Kumar Reddyのフォームに非常に満足しています
Sunrisers Hyderabad are one mighty happy side ahead of IPL 2025, thanks to the stellar form in which Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head and Nitish Kumar have been in. The trio, who have been retained by IPL 2024 runners-up, have fared extremely well with the bat in the recent past. Given the struggles that some of the batters from other IPL teams have experienced off late, SRH would be more than happy and much more confident ahead of the new season.
Good news for SRH ahead of IPL 2025
First and foremost, the most impressive SRH batter, especially in T20Is, is Abhishek Sharma. The Punjab opener set the stage on fire on Sunday by amassing the highest score for an Indian in T20Is and the second-fastest century in the shortest format by an Indian. His 135-run knock, studded with 13 sixes and 7 fours, surely comes as a confidence booster for Pat Cummins and co. ahead of IPL 2025. Not to forget, the southpaw switches to a completely different level when it comes to the IPL. If his carnage with Travis Head at the top of the order wasn’t already enough, his latest knock speaks volumes of his ability.
Latest news
SRH will be equally pleased with the form that Abhishek’s opening partner Head has been in. With two centuries to his name in the last 5 Tests that he has featured in, the Aussie batter is in red-hot form recently. He certainly ain’t no stranger to batting in white-ball formats, especially in the IPL. Along with Sharma, he already has the reputation for being one of the deadliest openers in the cash-rich league. Although he last featured in white-ball matches in September 2024, his form is good enough for SRH to be more than pleased with.
Player | Matches | Runs | Strike Rate | Average |
Travis Head | 25 | 772 | 173.87 | 36.76 |
Abhishek Sharma | 63 | 1377 | 155.24 | 25.50 |
Nitish Kumar Reddy is another reason for SRH to be over the moon ahead of IPL 2025. After emerging as a breakout star in 2024, the AP all-rounder left no stone unturned in impressing with his ability to bat very well across all formats of the game. Nitish’s highlight came in IND vs AUS Test series when he stunned everyone with his 114-run knock in the 4th Test at Melbourne which was a preceded by a series of 40+ scores that established him as one of India’s best batters in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
When the likes of RCB and MI will be bothered given the failures of Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, Suryakumar Yadav among others, SRH would be one happy side, especially because of how their batters have fared recently.
