ナマン賞は、BCCIによって毎年開催され、今年のベストインターナショナルおよびナショナルアーティストを称えています。
Tomorrow, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will host the Naman Awards tomorrow (February 1) in Mumbai. In attendance would be Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, all three of whom had rested from Mumbai’s last-round match in the Ranji Trophy.
Jasprit Bumrah to be felicitated with Polly Umrigar Award
According to SportTak, Jasprit Bumrah will be given the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for ‘Best Men’s International Cricketer’ of the 2023-24 season for the India cricket team. Just a few days ago, the pacer was given the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year and the ICC Cricketer of the Year awards for his exceptional performance.
Bumrah at his best in 2024
He ended the year as the top-ranked bowler in the ICC Test Rankings with 71 wickets in 13 matches. The second-best bowler, Gus Atkinson, had taken 19 fewer scalps than Bumrah. He’d also starred in the big-billed Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25. He was the best player by a large distance and was named the Player of the Tournament.
Earlier in the year, Bumrah had helped Team India win the T20 World Cup 2024 with his 15 wickets at an average of 8.26 and an economy of 4.17. Like the BGT, the pacer got the Player of the Tournament award for helping India get their hands on their first ICC trophy in 11 years.
