Hockey India has revealed a 32-member squad for the Indian Men’s Hockey team, set to compete in the Bhubaneswar leg of the FIH Pro League 2024-25. The matches will take place at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium from February 15 to 25. Led by experienced drag-flicker Harmanpreet Singh as captain and Hardik Singh as vice-captain, the team is ready to face Spain, Germany, Ireland, and England, playing each team twice in this leg.
New goalkeepers along with Krishan Bahadur Pathak
The squad features a blend of experienced players and new talents. First-choice goalkeeper Krishan Bahadur Pathak is supported by Suraj Karkera and Princedeep Singh. The defence includes players like Jarmanpreet Singh, Amit Rohidas, and Harmanpreet Singh. In midfield, the team will depend on the skills of Rajkumar Pal and Manpreet Singh, among others.
The attack is strengthened by forwards such as Abhishek, Sukhjeet Singh, and Mandeep Singh. Young players Angad Bir Singh (22) and Arshdeep Singh (20) will make their senior team debuts, having impressed in the junior ranks and the Hockey India League.

Confidence form the coach Craig Fulton
Indian Men’s Team Head Coach Craig Fulton expressed his confidence in the selected squad. “I’m pleased with the team we’ve chosen for the FIH Pro League matches in Bhubaneswar. This group has the potential to deliver strong performances and showcase exciting hockey. I’m eager to start training and aim for a positive start to the campaign,” he said.
Coach Fulton has been closely observing the players and is excited to see them compete against some of the world’s top teams. The team is poised to perform and represent India with skill and determination in the upcoming league matches.
