After being side-lined due to a back injury from the 2nd and 3rd IND vs ENG T20Is due a back injury, India middle-order batter Rinku Singh has been declared fit for the fourth match in Pune, scheduled to be played on Jan 31. The same was confirmed by India assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate, who went on to reveal, that he batted in the nets on Wednesday.
It was earlier reported that the southpaw had picked a back injury while fielding in the first match at Kolkata on Jan 22. Rinku Singh’s return could also mean that India will have more depth in their batting order, and could replace Dhruv Jurel, who crumbled under pressure during the chase in Rajkot.
