Fans clocked into the app and website as Virat Kohli stole the headlines with a brilliant century against his arch-rivals.
The newly formed JioHotstar platform live-streamed the India vs Pakistan clash in the Champions Trophy. Fans all across the globe were engrossed as the two rivals locked horns with each other. Eventually, it was the Men in Blue who emerged victorious after successfully chasing 242 runs.

IND vs PAK clash break streaming records
The 60.2 crores viewership was attained after a peak concurrency was obtained in the live stream. It was Pakistan who won the toss and opted to bat first. When the first over was bowled, the viewership leapfrogged to 6.8 crores as it steadily increased during the course of the game.
When Pakistan batted their last over of the game, the viewership ticker read 32.1 crore. Next when India came to bat it increased to 32.2 crores. Gradually it started increasing and remained stable at 36.2 crores as India clinched the win. Previously, the highest concurrency was 3.5 crores when India took on Pakistan in the ODI World Cup 2023. During the Asia Cup, it was around 2.8 crores.
The highest concurrency for this game will be released next week when the final numbers are released.
