Ruturaj Gaikwad’s reaction in the video has further fueled speculation. After the match, the video went viral on social media, with fans speculating and commenting on the incident. At first glance, it might seem like ball tampering, but upon careful observation, nothing has been confirmed yet. Apart from all the allegations and speculation, if we remove all distractions and focus on the recent game, CSK thumped MI by 4 wickets. Thanks to half-centuries from Rachin Ravindra and Ruturaj Gaikwad, Chennai Super Kings began their campaign with a victory.
The match took place at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Mumbai, after losing the toss, batted first and posted 155 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. In response, CSK chased down the target, scoring 158 runs for six wickets in 19.1 overs, securing the win. Although there was a tricky phase where MI almost made a comeback, Rachin Ravindra’s patient batting pushed CSK past the finish line.
