Sandeep Sharma started his night on a brilliant note only to see it fall apart in the DC vs RR clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday. Bowling the final over of the Delhi Capitals innings, the Rajasthan Royals pacer erred in his lengths, bowling several extras. In fact, Sandeep sent down 11 deliveries in the 20th over, making it the longest in IPL history.

The veteran pacer kept things tight in the powerplay, conceding just 7 runs in his two overs. He returned to bowl the 18th over, conceding just 7 runs again, putting the breaks on Delhi Capitals’ scoring. However, it was the final over when Sharma’s lines and lengths went missing.
