Fans have been highly excited to watch the King as they started to queue up from 3 AM in the morning.
The craze for Virat Kohli is real and it was shown firsthand as fans queued outside Arun Jaitley Stadium since 3 AM in the morning. Ahead of the game, the queue of the fans was almost 2 km long.
2km Long queue for a Ranji Trophy Match
It has been a long time since a huge crowd turned up in a Ranji Trophy game. But things have been different when it comes to Virat Kohli. To catch a glimpse of the ace batter, Virat Kohli fans started to queue outside the stadium which became 2 km long before the start of the game.
Virat Kohli makes a comeback into domestic cricket after the BCCI issued a mandate that every international star will have to actively take part in domestic cricket. This move comes after India was handed a 3-0 whitewash at home against New Zealand. This was followed by a 3-1 humiliation in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
India failed to reach the WTC Finals after their torrid form in red-ball cricket. Back in Australia, Virat Kohli failed to score big runs, save just an unbeaten century in Perth. He went on to manage to score 191 runs in 11 innings.
