NO IPL vs PSL Comparison, Says Sam Billings

On Tuesday, after the PSL 2025 match between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, English batter Sam Billings was asked the same question. And he figured out quick enough, as to why the question was asked to him. Much to his credit, he made it clear that there was no comparison between IPL and PSL, and the race was for the second place.

“You want me to say something silly, don’t you,” Sam Billings said at the press conference, after the PSL 10 match. “The great thing about cricket is, everywhere you go around the world, you have to adapt to conditions. Look, there is no doubt; everyone knows that Pakistan has a huge amount of talent.” he added.

“It is hard to rank all the competitions, and it is hard to look past the IPL as the premier competition. That probably is obvious, and every other competition is just behind. In England we doing the same as PSL, to be the second-best in the world, the Big Bash are trying to do the same, it is very hard to compare,” he added.

As far as the Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings match is concerned, the former posted a 65-run win. They scored 201 in the first innings, and then Karachi was bundled out for only 136.
