Mein Jata Hoon、Ek Saal Mein Team Kar Kar Kay Dikhaunga Tum Yaad Rakhoge」とYograj Singhは言いました。
Pakistan Cricket Team’s early exit from the Champions Trophy 2025 has again brought up significant issues inside the Pakistani camp. To note, the Muhammad Rizwan-led side lost their opening match of the Champions Trophy against New Zealand. In their must-win match against India, the Pakistan Cricket Team suffered a heavy defeat, thus getting eliminated from the Champions Trophy.
Receiving flak and criticism from every corner, the Pakistan Cricket Team has received an offer from Yograj Singh. Speaking in an interview, Yograj Singh took a dig at Pakistan’s former pacer Wasim Akram and stated that he is willing to go to Pakistan and build a team that will be remembered for a long time.
Wasim Akram is just making money: Yograj Singh
“Wasim is earning money doing commentary. Go back to your country, organise a camp of these players. I want to see which one of you can help Pakistan win the World Cup and if not then resign. Mein jata hoon, ek saal mein team khadi kar kay dikhaunga tum yaad rakhoge (I can coach them. I will build this team in one year and you’ll will remember it). It’s all about passion. I am spending 12 hours here (at his own academy). You will have to give your blood and sweat for your own country,” said Yograj Singh in an interview.
Babar-Rizwan under fire after Champions Trophy exit
Among the many players facing criticism, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been singled out the most. These two star players were unable to perform as expected, which significantly contributed to their team’s early exit from the tournament.
Although Babar scored a half-century in the first match against the Kiwis, his pace was slower than required. Similarly, in the second match against their arch-rivals India, captain Rizwan tried his best but managed only 46 runs off 77 balls, which wasn’t enough for their team’s success.
