チャンピオンズトロフィー2025の前に、インドの旗がついに設置され、PCBはカラチスタジアムにインドの代表を追加しました。
Another defeat for Pakistan! The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has installed Indian flags after facing backlash for not respecting India’s sentiments and initially omitting them from stadiums ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025. When the National Stadium in Karachi was inaugurated, India’s representation was noticeably absent, leading to criticism from Indian fans, who slammed the PCB for the oversight.
In the latest development in the Pakistan-India controversy, India’s flag was spotted at the National Stadium in Karachi.
PCB issued a clarification regarding the issue, but it did not satisfy the fans.
“The ICC has advised that only four flags will be hoisted on Champions Trophy 2025 match days—ICC (Event Authority), PCB (Event Host), and the two sides competing on that day. Simple,” a PCB official had told Hindustan Times.
PCB’s frustration
The PCB might be frustrated with the BCCI and India for refusing to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025, forcing them to accept the hybrid model they were initially against. Since then, the PCB has been making various attempts to retaliate against India for self-satisfaction.
In a video that went viral a few days ago, the flags of every participating country—aside from India—were displayed on one of the roofs of Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
