The Pakistan Super Leaague (PSL 10) replacement draft will be held on Monday via a virtual session. Franchises will rope in players for stars who have either pulled out of the tournament completely or partially. Although the PSL 10 draft saw most IPL discards in fray, players decided to withdraw from the tournament citing personal reasons or favouring the more popular IPL.

PSL 10 replacement draft to be held today

Six players – Mark Chapman, Kane Williamson, Nahid Rana, Litton Das, Corbin Bosch, Rassie van der Dussen – will be replaced partially in the PSL replacement draft. PSL 10 will commence from April 11 and will overlap with IPL 2025. The replacement draft will be held virtually on Monday evening.

Peshawar Zalmi had bought Bosch for Rs 75 lakh. However, the South African ditched PSL 10 for IPL as he was named Lizaad Williams’ replacement in MI. The PCB issued a legal notice to the Proteas bowler, only to be humiliated by his stinging response.

Inefficient PCB makes PSL separate company

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that the Pakistan Super League will now be a separate company. The decision stems from the long standing demand of the PSL franchises advocating for the step to manage affairs of the league more efficiently. In a 23-minute meeting with the franchise owners, PCB chairman Naqvi announced that PSL would be established as a separate company.
