グレン・マックスウェルは、私が彼に直面した16の提出のために3番目のパンツパンツを費やしました。また、より少ないパンランを拡張します
Rishabh Pant’s IPL 2025 journey with the bat has been a nightmare so far. On Tuesday, the newly appointed Lucknow Super Giants captain was dismissed for 2 against Punjab Kings.
Pant, who became the most expensive player in IPL auction history when LSG bought him for Rs 27 crore, was dismissed for a duck against Delhi Capitals and then managed to score only 15 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Rishabh Pant vs Maxwell
Up against PBKS led by Shreyas Iyer, Pant had to deal with a dangerous match-up. He walked in to bat after Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram were dismissed, and immediately had to face Glenn Maxwell.
It was a smarch match-up by Iyer, who is incidentally the second most expensive player in IPL auctions and Pant’s former teammate at DC.
Maxwell had dismissed Pant on two occasions in the IPL earlier – the dashing wicketkeeper batsman had only scored 11 runs in 12 balls against the Australian all-rounder.
On Tuesday, Pant lasted only 5 balls and scored 2 runs before hitting Maxwell straight to Yuzvendra Chahal at short fine leg. It was an ordinary delivery at best and Pant’s half-hearted effort could not have sat well with the LSG dug-out.
Rishabh Pant was bought by LSG after an intense bidding war. They needed to get an Indian superstar after KL Rahul moved on following a poor 2024 season when the former captain was apparently given a public dressing-down by Sanjeev Goenka, the team owner.
