IPLP 2025:大砲は、SRHの最初のイニングと日曜日の試合で発生しました。
Just when you thought that the IPL 2025 was going rather smoothly, a controversy involving ex-India cricketer Harbhajan Singh and English fast bowler Jofra Archer has emerged. The incident took place during the SRH vs RR match, where Archer turned up for the Rajasthan Royals team, and Harbhajan happened to be one of the broadcasters on the Hindi feed.
During the first innings of the match, 17.3 overs to be precise, Harbhajan allegedly said “London ki wo kali Taxi kafi tez bhagti hai” (London’s black taxis are quick). And since then, there has been a furor on X, with the fans demanding an apology from the Indian legend. It must be reminded to one and all, that during the third India vs Australia Test at The Gabba, broadcaster Isa Guha too had said something insensitive about pacer Jasprit Bumrah, and was made to apologise publicly.
While talking about Bumrah’s excellent bowling spell, she called him an MVP — “Most Valuable Primate”. Coming back to Harbhajan’s incident, this hasn’t gone down too well with some fans across the world, and demand an apology for the same. Although till now, it remains to be understood, exactly what for Harbhajan should be made to apologise.
SRH vs RR, IPL 2025
As far as the match is concerned, it was a one-sided victory for the hosts SRH. After posting a mammoth 286/6 on the board, they went on to clinch the match by a massive 44 runs. It is important to note that Archer had an off day with the ball, where he leaked 76 runs in hos four overs, and became the most expensive bowler in the history of IPL. Earlier, Ishan Kishan had scored a 45-ball ton for SRH.
