Thousands of fans filled the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi to watch him play, proving that his popularity remains unmatched. However, his return to domestic cricket wasn’t as successful as expected—he scored just 6 runs from 15 balls in the first innings.
Despite his low score in the Ranji match, Virat Kohli will now focus on India’s home series against England. His form will be crucial as India prepares for the ICC Champions Trophy, set to take place in Dubai. Having won the tournament twice before, India will be aiming for a historic third title.
