Day 3 of the IND vs AUS 3rd Test in Gabba can’t seem to be any worse for the India Cricket Team. First Australia amassed 445 runs, the Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed on 4 runs. Adding more concerns to the visitors, ace batter Shubman Gill was dismissed after scoring just 1 run.
India’s nemesis Mitchell Starc continues to haunt and trouble the visitors. He first dispatched Yashasvi Jaiswal and then went on to send off Shubman Gill on the very first delivery of his second over. Gill unable to understand the swing, played out a thick nick to give away a catch in the slips.
India in huge peril
Things haven’t been easy for India. First, they could only manage to bowl out Australia on 445 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed a boundary on the very first ball of the game. The next ball, he gave away a simple catch. On came Shubman Gill. He stayed on the crease for 3 deliveries, scored 1 run, and walked back to the pavilion.
With Virat Kohli and KL Rahul on the crease, India will be hoping for these two batters to hold the fort and recover the innings for the side. With 2 early wickets gone, it is now definitely advantage India.
