IND対AUSテスト：スニール・ガバスカールとアラン・ボーダーがボーダー・ガバスカール・トロフィー獲得の本命を選ぶ

Day 3 of the IND vs AUS 3rd Test in Gabba was halted by rain delays quite a few times. And during one of these rain breaks, the greats Sunil Gavaskar and Allan Border chose their picks as to which team would win the Border Gavaskar Trophy. While Sunil Gavaskar banked on India to win, Allan Border however picked his country.

The Gabba Test match has been plagued with rain delays and during one of those breaks, both the greats spoke with the broadcaster Star Sports. Both the legends initially decided to speak on India’s poor start. In reply to Australia’s mammoth 445-run total, India lost 3 quick wickets as the visitors experienced another top-order collapse.

Sunil Gavaskar Picks India

When Jatin Sapru asked both the legends about their predictions as to who would win the Border Gavaskar Trophy, the answer was quite expected. Each legend decided to back to their own country to take the series.

“I think this Test match would be a draw as there is more rain expected in the coming days. The next two Test matches would be crucial. I expect India to win the next two matches. I think India will win the series 3-1,” said Sunil Gavaskar.

“I think Australia will win the series. They will win it 2-1,” said Allan Border. However, after listening to Gavaskar’s prediction he added, “The rivalry continues.”
