インドとオーストラリアチャンピオンズトロフィー2025の準決勝でインドが最初に進歩した後、Virat KohliはBhangraを踊っていました。
Virat Kohli is known for his passionate on-field presence and celebrates every wicket with great enthusiasm. During the India vs Australia Champions Trophy 2025 match, Mohammed Shami provided the breakthrough by dismissing Australian opener Cooper Connolly.
It was a length ball outside off, and Cooper Connolly attempted a cut shot, only to get a thick under-edge. The ball fell short of wicketkeeper KL Rahul, who reacted swiftly with a forward dive to complete the catch. However, the umpire did not give it out, and the decision went to the third umpire, who eventually called Connolly out.
Virat Kohli dancing celebration
Virat Kohli taunted Connolly after the third umpire confirmed the dismissal and celebrated with a dance. He even broke into a bhangra to rejoice after taking wickets against Australia.
Cooper Connolly’s wicket
India was convinced and appealed, but umpire Richard Illingworth turned it down. Rohit Sharma immediately opted for a review, and UltraEdge confirmed the edge. Shami, who had consistently troubled Connolly in the over, finally got his reward as the Australian opener was dismissed for a nine-ball duck in the semifinal clash in Dubai.
Connolly replaced Matthew Short for today’s match, with Australia making two changes. Apart from him, Tanveer Sangha was also named in the playing XI.
