Speaking on Star Sports, he said, “Firstly, India should try to bundle out Australia at the earliest. And how will that happen? It would happen if the bowlers make the Aussie batsmen play a lot more deliveries. On day 1, there were a lot of deliveries that were left by the batsmen (Labuschagne and McSweeney) and were saved because of that. Now, I want them to attack the stumps and make the batsmen play, to get them out.

Secondly, the Indian bowlers should only go for shorter bursts of spells, and not the other way around, so that they don’t get tired. From one end it should be a fast bowler, and spinner from the other. And lastly, Australia shouldn’t be allowed to take a massive lead, if you can’t restrict them before your total.
