Pakistani opener Saim Ayub hit the joint third-fastest century for Pakistan, guiding his team to a dominant 10-wicket victory over Zimbabwe, leveling the series 1-1. Chasing 146 at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, Ayub brought up his first ODI century in just 53 balls. Pakistan comfortably chased down the target with all 10 wickets intact and 31.4 overs remaining.
The record for the fastest ODI century for Pakistan is held by Shahid Afridi, who achieved the feat in just 37 balls against Sri Lanka. He also scored a century in 45 balls against India and another in 53 balls against Bangladesh.
