Indie game developer Masala Games has revealed what players can expect from its hotly anticipated cosy mystery adventure game Detective Dotson when it releases on April 3 this year. The game will support Valve’s Steam Deck at launch allowing you to take Detective Dotson with you on the go. Check out full information below:

Furthermore, Detective Dotson has full controller support including both Xbox Series and DualSense controller options. There’s Remote Play, letting you stream it to your TV or another PC as well as Remote Play Together, letting you instantly share Detective Dotson with friends over the internet, for free. Also, same screen co-op will be available post-launch.

The game will support the Steam Deck gamepad and joystick with trackpad control option at launch. Developed in Unity, its system requirements are as follows:

Detective Dotson is a mystery adventure game set in a stylised rendition of modern-day India that puts players in the role of Dotson, a reluctant detective. Players can wishlist the game from the Steam store Page right now. A demo for the game is out on Steam as well.

• The Mystery of Mrs. Sengupta’s FOMO-mergency: in the case of why your aunty was blacklisted from her kitty party.
• Parth’s Pigeon Predicament: discover why your best friend is being harassed by a band of avian annoyances.
• You’ll interact with our vibrant 2D meets 3D world, try out new disguises and take on new side-quests. While the demo has a slice of what to expect, the full release contains five episodes.
• Detective Dotson sports an original OST made in collaboration with Nikhil Rao of Indian Ocean, pioneers of Indian fusion rock.
