「シラジは罰金を科されるべきだ」:マイケル・クラーク、IND対AUSの第1、第2テストで審判に「敬意」を示さなかったICCのペーサー不作為にショック

Former Australian captain Michael Clarke has called for Mohammed Siraj to be fined by the ICC over a couple of incidents in 1st and 2nd IND vs AUS Tests. Clarke is seemingly upset with the Indian pacer for celebrating without appealing to the umpire for an LBW, only to turn back and realise that it was given not out. The incidents that the ex-Aussie skipper is referring to is from Siraj’s actions while bowling to Head in Perth and Labuschagne in Adelaide.

Clarke wants Siraj to be fined by ICC

While Siraj is also embroiled in controversy over his heated exchange with Travis Head in Adelaide, Clarke has claimed that the pacer not respecting the umpire is a bigger concern and that his actions need to be sanctioned. He slammed Mohammed Siraj for running down the pitch without appealing for an LBW and said he was surprised the ICC had not fined him yet. He went on to claim that his former teammate Brett Lee was told in the past that action would be taken against him if he did not turn back and appeal to the umpires for the wicket.

Siraj should be fined for keeping on appealing for lbw and not asking the umpire. He hits the batter on the pads and just runs down like they’re out. I’m surprised the ICC haven’t fined him because I remember when I was playing, you get fined every time. Brett Lee was the worst at it and they told him, ‘I you don’t turn around and ask the umpire, you’re going to be fined’,” Clarke said.
