The Indian Cricket Team stars have all faltered on their Ranji Trophy return. Adding to the list of the faltering stars, Rishabh Pant is the new addition. Making his comeback into the Ranji Trophy after many years, the Delhi star batter managed to score just 1 run before being dispatched by Saurashtra.

Rishabh Pant has been a decent outing with the bat in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. He managed to score just 255 runs from 9 innings. While Pant was a regular in the Indian lineup, he failed to showcase his extra ordinary batting skills at Down Under.

Rishabh Pant poor in Ranji Return

Much like the other Indian Cricket Team stars, Rishabh Pant was no exception. He managed to score just 1 run for Delhi against Saurasthra on his Ranji Trophy return after 6 long years. The BCCI made it mandatory for the Indian players to take part in domestic cricket as a result the Indian stars were back in action in Ranji Trophy.

Hopes were high on Pant to score some big runs on the board. But Alas! The ace southpaw came to bat and his stay on the craese was short lived. He could manage to score just a single before he was sent packing.

This Ranji Trophy knock was extremely important for the Indian stars who have been poor with the bat. This was a golden opportunity for the players to get their form back as less than a month now remains before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy.
