現在、混合物の外で、Yuzvendra Chahalは現在のRanjiトロフィーのラウンド6に登場していないか、インドのチャンピオンズトロフィーチームに含まれています。それで、彼はいつ下で遊ぶのでしょうか?
India’s one of the most successful spinners in limited-overs cricket, Yuzvendra Chahal, has not been part of the national mix for some time. Recently, former cricketer Aakash Chopra shared his thoughts on Chahal’s future after he was left out of the recently announced Champions Trophy squad.
Also, on the domestic front, he missed the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024 and the ongoing Ranji Trophy round 6 game, where he didn’t play for his state team, Haryana. Certainly raised concerns about the future of his career. There is also no confirmation if he will be included in the team for the upcoming Ranji Trophy match, where Haryana will face Karnataka on January 30. So, what’s next for Yuzvendra Chahal?
When is Yuzvendra Chahal playing next?
Chahal, who showcased his brilliance in IPL 2024 with an impressive 18 wickets in 15 games, was selected for the T20 World Cup 2024. However, despite his inclusion, he didn’t feature in any of the matches. While he returned to India as a World Cup winner, his individual presence on the field was absent. But now fans missing him in action have good news, as Yuzvendra Chahal is set to feature in the upcoming Shani’s Trophy, which is scheduled to be played in Lucknow in February this year.
Also, Chahal is going to be in the IPL again, this time for Punjab Kings, after the franchise picked him for a whopping INR 18 crore, making him the most expensive spinner in IPL history. Chahal, who is also the leading wicket-taker in IPL with 205 wickets, has still not found a permanent spot in the Indian team. As the Indian T20I team steadily goes up, it looks increasingly difficult for the 34-year-old spinner to secure a place once again.
When was the last time Yuzvendra Chahal played for India?
Speaking about Chahal’s stint with the Indian team, it’s clear that from 2017 to 2022, he was the front-line spinner for the Men in Blue and performed impressively well. However, things took a turn after that. Chahal last played in an ODI way back in January 2023 against New Zealand, and in his favoured format, T20Is, he played against West Indies in August 2023. Since then, there has been no sign of him in the playing XI. But as mentioned, he was part of the 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 but didn’t feature in any game.
