The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to be an exciting tournament, returning after eight years since the last edition in 2017. Scheduled from February 19 to March 9, 2025, the tournament will be hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

Eight top-ranked teams will compete in this 15-match event, divided into two groups: Group A (India, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan) and Group B (England, Australia, South Africa, Afghanistan). The group stage will be followed by semi-finals and the final.

The tournament kicks off with Pakistan facing New Zealand in Karachi on February 19. One of the most anticipated matches will be India vs. Pakistan on February 23 in Dubai. The semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 and 5, with the final set for March 9 in Lahore, or Dubai if India qualifies. While 7 teams have announced their captains for the upcoming Champions Trophy, the hosts, Pakistan, are yet to announce their squad for the tournament. Last year in September, PCB announced that Babar Azam will lead the hosts in the upcoming Champions Trophy. The PCB is expected to announce the squad soon with the tournament starting from the next month onwards.
