Aieravatiに登場する世界最大のスタジアムは、8億ルピーの費用がかかります

The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with an impressive capacity of 132,000, currently holds the title of the largest stadium in the world. However, this title is set to change, though it will still remain in India. Surprisingly, it is not Delhi, Mumbai, or Bengaluru but Amaravati that aims to build the world’s largest stadium.

The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) has unveiled plans for constructing a new stadium in Amaravati with an estimated budget of approximately ₹800 crore. The ACA has already requested 60 acres of land from the state government for this project, which is expected to be ready in time to host the 2029 National Games.

BCCI to help in construction of world’s largest stadium

To fund the construction, assistance will be sought from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), along with locally raised funds. Additionally, the ACA plans to upgrade the Visakhapatnam Stadium with advanced facilities to host IPL matches. The authorities also intend to establish three cricket academies, one each in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada, and Rayalaseema.

The ACA aims to produce at least 15 players from the state to participate in the IPL within the next two years. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Cricket Association is also planning to construct a stadium with a seating capacity of over 100,000 spectators. Currently, the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia is the second largest stadium in the world, with a capacity of 100,024.
