They topped the group stage with six victories from seven games and cruised through the knockout rounds, defeating Tamil Nadu by 198 runs in the quarter-finals and defending champions Mumbai by 80 runs in the semis.

Having won the title in 2017-18 and 2018-19, Vidarbha is making its fourth final appearance, showing remarkable consistency in red-ball cricket. They also reached the Vijay Hazare Trophy final this season, underlining their strong domestic presence.
