Credo.asia is an independent publication under new ownership. The current publication is not operated by the original Credo editorial team.

The domain has historical associations with Japanese explanatory media. That history is research context, not a claim of corporate, editorial, or author continuity. We do not reuse the former logo, authors, articles, or identity.

What we publish

• Local context that prevents a country or culture becoming a headline shortcut.
• Source notes that let readers verify the important parts for themselves.
• Original comparisons, timelines, and research when they add more than summary.

What we do not publish

• Breaking-news rewrites, celebrity feeds, or generic aggregation.
• Mass-produced pages designed to fill a sitemap.
• Political propaganda, unsupported claims, or anonymous authority.
• Historical content copied from archives without rights and provenance review.

A note about the briefing

The Credo briefing is a planned occasional letter about one system, question, or source worth understanding. There is no signup form in this MVP, so this page does not collect email addresses or promise delivery.

We may use AI for research organisation, extraction, drafting support, link checking, and maintenance alerts. AI output is not treated as a verified fact. High-risk topics receive human review, and published claims must have a traceable source or be clearly identified as interpretation.
